Whatever Happened to Legs?

In the 70s and 80s, men seemed obsessed with legs. Pop culture was rife with men ogling womanly shanks as if they were prized hams. ZZ Top, Van Halen, and Rod Stewart (probably Mötley Crüe, too) wrote songs dedicated to well-formed lower limbs. And if I were a betting man, I'd bet Steven Tyler had a few leg-themed tracks left scattered as outtakes on the recording booth floor.

Legs don't get as much love as they used to. Sure, thick (thicc?) thighs are a constant standby, but the leg, as a whole, has not merely fallen out of vogue, but has been cast into the dustbin of history, along with the extreme BBLs of the 2010s, duck faces of the aughts, and heroin chic of the 90s (though Ozempic has given this look a second wind. Hooray for modern medicine).

Do legs deserve a comeback? I'm not so sure. For me, they fall into the same bucket as feet. Not my thing, but I'm not here to yuck anybody else's yum. As long as it's legal, my firm belief is that you should be able to consensually suck and fuck whatever your heart desires, and it's no one else's business but your own.
