My Son is Still in the Hospital
An update on my son's hospital admission.
J spent his third day in the hospital today. Over the past few days, his creatine kinase levels peaked at 21,000 and then fell to 15,000 yesterday, still way higher than they should be (under 300).
The nurses are scheduled to take more blood at 8 am. They had been taking blood in the evening, but they wanted to give him another 12 hours of fluids before the next test.
The good news is that the doctor hopes the levels will be low enough in the morning to discuss sending him home. So, now we wait.
