I Didn't Realize How Much I Missed the Sun
I've been super busy developing an iOS app for Treasure Coast Today. So busy, in fact, that I didn't even realize how much I've missed out on one of my favorite things: the warm feel of the sun on my skin.
I took my son out for a Taco Bell run this afternoon, and even the short walk to the car felt so damn good. Being outdoors, basking in the sun's glory, even briefly, is truly rejuvenating.
Even the smell of the rotting chicken and eggs my son accidentally left in the car to marinate in the Florida sun for the last few days couldn't dampen my mood.
