Dog Grandparents
My dog's birthday was yesterday. Shea is now officially 6 years old, firmly a mature adult. If she were human, she'd probably be right around my age. That would create a very interesting dynamic, considering I'm practically her father.
Today we took a trip to my parents' house after I picked up their groceries for them at Walmart. Shea had not seen her grandparents in a couple of months, so she was a little overstimulated. You can tell when she's overstimulated when she starts lightly whimpering and, when she's outside, pees every few feet until she runs dry. And even after she runs dry, she still tries to go.
My human son stayed home because he was sore from the gym and didn't feel like helping bring in the heavy groceries. I gave him a pass this time.
Oh, and my brother was arrested yesterday for a parole violation. We don't know any other details yet, so I'm not going to go much into it, but yeah, that happened.
